In 2024 (test market), Lexi not only focused on creating and collaborating with music producers on new original music; she also put herself out there to sing at many live events, many of which were paid opportunities. And this was mainly with backtracks to accompany her. She also focused on her online performances (“Going Live”) and building her social media.

For 2025, she wants to level-up her game and work with other team members.

We’re seeking talented musicians to form a band. Our focus is on bringing Lexi’s blend of R&B, Pop, 80s, 90s, 2000s pop, disco, dance and funk to life through fun live shows and events. Lexi Nguyen’s Band – Requirements, Expectations & Guidelines

Musical Style & Vision:

  • The band will perform a mix of R&B, pop, 80s, 90s, 2000s pop, disco, funk, dance, and soul music.
  • We are seeking primarily Guitarist, Bassist, Drummer and Keyboard (core instruments). Lexi is secondary Keyboard; but will focus on singing and entertaining the audience.
  • Our setlist will include both Lexi’s originals and cover songs that align with these styles.
  • Band members are encouraged to provide creative input, but Lexi has the final creative say on arrangements and setlists.
  • This band is solely for performing Lexi’s music and curated covers—we will not create new original music together.

Professionalism & Commitment:

  • This is a professional band and will operate on an as-needed basis. As Lexi and her management books more gigs, members should be available for performances, especially bigger events in 2025 and beyond.
  • Dress Code (performance day): The main color for performances will be black, but this may change depending on the vibe of the venue or event. Outfits should always be clean, well-presented, and free from excessive rips or distressing attire.
  • Stage Presence: Members are expected to bring good energy, engage with the audience, and complement the performance with confidence and enthusiasm.
  • Conflicts & Disputes: If any disagreements arise, they must be brought directly to Lexi first. All parties involved will have a calm and respectful conversation to understand each other’s perspectives and find a resolution.
  • Lexi will still perform solo at times, but the band will be her main supporting act for selected gigs.

Rehearsals & Attendance:

  • Rehearsals will be scheduled 2 times per week, depending on the length and complexity of upcoming gigs.
  • Strict attendance is required. If a member has an important commitment and must miss rehearsal, that is acceptable. However, if two or more members cannot attend, the rehearsal will be rescheduled.
  • Band members must give at least 2 days’ notice if they cannot attend a rehearsal.

Gigs & Logistics:

  • The band is open to performing outside of the city when opportunities arise.
  • Lexi will handle all bookings but is open to band members suggesting gigs she may not have found yet.
  • Promotion is a shared effort—Lexi will handle the main social media promotions, but band members are encouraged to share and promote on their own social media as well.

Future Opportunities:

  • The band is currently focused on live performances only. However, there is potential for recording Lexi’s original songs in the future.
